 How to link Aadhaar Card with Voter ID Online

The government of India has issued a new update about UIDAI Aadhaar to Voter ID Link. The Election Commission of India (ECI) allow voters to apply for a Voter ID card through the National Voters Services Portal. Now Indian citizens need to link Aadhar to Voter ID card through the voterportal.eci.gov.in, official portal at www.nvsp.in.

Candidates can link Voter ID Card to Aadhar Card through the NVSP portal via online mode, offline mode, SMS and by Mobile Phone.

The Union Cabinet approved a new Bill about Aadhar Link to Voter ID Card. Candidates complete age of 18 Years is eligible to register for a Voter ID Card on four different dates every year. Indian Government has taken a decision to link Aadhar to Voter ID Card. Aadhar Card consists of biometric details of every person and it will reduce the possibility of duplicate voters. Candidates can link Aadhar Card to voter ID Card through online mode, offline mode, through SMS or by visiting booth-level officers. How to Link Aadhaar Card With Voter ID Online

Step 1: Visit the official website of NVSP Voter Portal @ voterportal.eci.gov.in

Step 2: Check the Login Page and Enter Mobile Number Email ID / Voter ID Number. If not Registered then Click on "Create an Account" then Login.

Step 3: Enter Your Password, Security Code and Click on Login Button.

Step 4: Verify your District Name & State Name.

Step 5: Enter Personal Information like Name, Father's Name & Date of Birth (DOB).

Step 6: Click on Search Button.

Step 7: Match your details with Government Database.

Step 8: Now click on Feed Aadhaar No. Button and open it.

Step 9: Then enter Aadhaar Number, Voter ID Number, Registered mobile number / Email ID.

Step 10: After that Click on Submit Button.

Step 11: Now your successfully Link your

Aadhar to your Voter ID Card and you will get a confirmation message.

Offline Process

Booth Level Officer (BLO) has authority to link the Aadhar Card and Voter ID card in offline mode. Candidates need to submit the Application form of Link Aadhar to Voter ID to Booth Level Officer. BLO verify the details and linked Aadhar with a Voter ID Card.

Through SMS

■ Candidates need to Type SMS <EPIC Number or Voter Id card number> <SPACE> <Aadhar No> and send it to 166 or 51959.

Candidates need to send the SMS with Registered Mobile Number only.

Link through Customer Care Number

calling Customer Care Number (1950).

Candidates can link Aadhar with Voter ID by Candidates need to dial 1950 and follow the Customer Care Executive instructions, type your Voter ID Card Number and Aadhaar Number for link process.
